An export website built to satisfy international buyers doing due diligence

A seven-page site for a Cameroon-based agricultural commodity exporter, structured around what an international procurement team checks before they will trade with a supplier they have never met.

The challenge

A buyer on another continent has to decide whether you are real

Commodity buyers place orders worth far more than a website costs, with a company they have often never visited. Before they send an enquiry they want to know what you actually supply, in what grades, how you aggregate and package it, how it reaches a port, and where you are physically located. A single-page brochure site cannot answer that, and looks like a company that has not thought about it.

Our approach

Structure the site around the buyer’s checklist, not ours

We built separate pages for Commodities, Capabilities, and Shipping & Logistics, because those are the three things a procurement team looks for and they should not be buried inside an About page. Each commodity — groundnuts, corn, soybeans, onions, charcoal — gets its own entry rather than sitting in a generic list, so the site can rank for the specific searches buyers actually run. The quote request asks for quantity, destination port and product interest, which is the information needed to reply usefully rather than with another round of questions.

What we built

  • Seven-page site: Home, About, Commodities, Capabilities, Shipping & Logistics, Contact, Quote
  • Individual entries per commodity rather than a single combined list
  • Quote request capturing quantity, destination port and product interest
  • Technical SEO with metadata targeted at buyer search terms
  • Open Graph and Twitter card metadata for link previews
  • Physical address and direct phone number published, for buyer verification
  • Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn integration
